Golden King (Ilex x altaclerensis)
The Golden King is a virourous growing holly, that will grow to a height of about 25 feet.
Despite the name, this
variety is female and will produce small white flowers in spring and clusters of red berries in autumn - provided there is a male holly near by.
The leaves are spineless, and a superb dark green colour tinged with yellow edges.
